My name is David Lindsay and I’m a retired Certified Dental Lab Technician (CDT) who is used to working on intricate small components in the Dental Implant world. I feel that this background has made the transition into Gunsmithing easier.
I’ve always had a love for firearms and shooting since my early teens and have enjoyed shooting and practical Firearms training. Firearms have been a part of my life for over 60 years and I still have my original Ruger 10/22 and Remington 870, both of which are over 50 years old.
I chose American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI) as my resource for learning the art of Gunsmithing. I enrolled in their Advanced Master Gunsmithing Course and enjoy their “Design, Function, and Repair” methodology. It is their belief that you can’t fix a firearm properly unless you really understand how it is designed to work.
AGI designed cutaway firearms are used as teaching aids for many models covered in their coursework. Because their coursework is DVD based I have a reference library of several thousand hours of information on most every major Firearm available.
